What better way to celebrate #NationalRunningDay than a cool evening 5K with your local run community. This was the second year Fleet and Brooks partnered up to put on this cool race in the spirit of National Running Day and to support our running club XC shoe program.

There were many familiar faces at the start line. NBB Club members, Fleet Feet Store runners and customers, and local brewery Hand Brewed Beer came out with their crew for support.
Coach Pat Connely from Tuesday Night Track started off the race with a ready set go and off everybody went. Jetting out to the lead was Will Caplenor from HBB and chasing him was NBB’s Franky Ortega with his son in a stroller. In the end Will broke away for the win a time of 18:32. In the women’s division, a newcomer, Agnes, took the win with a time of 21:32, and NBB Jessy close behind with a time 21:38.
After the race, we were treated with ice cream sandwiches, awards, and swag that was raffled off.
